LJM Racing, Maiolo Consolidates AHG Points Lead After WSS:
Release 24/02/2011 - BCM

Team driver Jamie Maiolo competed in 6 nights of the World Series Sprintcars not vying for that title but more importantly securing valuable AHG series points for the 2010/2011 sprintcar season.

The 4 rounds for the LJM team at Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Manjimup & The Perth Motorplex had its highs & lows for the team but one thing is for sure the race fitness & track craft is a priceless toll when running against Australia’s best sprintcar drivers.

For Jamie his 6 WSS feature race results had him all finish in the A main of each event with kalgoorlie 14th, Bunbury night 1 9th, Bunbury night 2 8th Manjimup 12th, Motorplex night 1 2nd & Perth Motorplex grand final 12th, these are results Jamie can be proud off & the bigger picture is he finished them all & gained a handy lead in the SEG series.

Team young gun Bradley Maiolo also had solid results & managed to finish in all 6 feature race events, Brads results were Kalgoorlie 6th B main, Bunbury night 1 9th B main, Bunbury night 2 11th B main, Manjimup 9th B main, Motorplex night 1 8th B main & Motorplex grand final 12th B main.

This team has learned one important thing, to succeed on the road you must conquer your home tracks & LJM racing are well on the way to doing that here in WA.

The March long weekend holds a race close to the LJM teams hearts, the Krikke Boys Memorial weekend is somewhat of a very special occasion for the team, Darryl used to be the team driver for LJM at that time Jamie was an up & coming junior Sedan star, from the time the Krikke Boys Race was created jamie Maiolo has been trying to win this not only for himself, his dad but more importantly Darryl Krikke. “This race means more to our family than any race of the year, can’t wait im really looking forward to it, doesn’t matter which drivers are here we all race for that one special reason” Commented Jamie a few weeks ago.

LJM Racing will head to Bunbury City Speedway on the weekend of March 5th & 6th for the annual Krikke Boys Shootout, a race that has eluded the LJM team for sometime & is high on their agenda for success.

LJM Racing is proudly supported by: Australian Produce Brokers, Ausquip Industries, Auto 1 Bunbury, KC Tools, Panelworx, Heatley Industrial, LJM Produce, Maxwill Race Engines & The BCM Group.
