Road To Ahg Sprintcar Crown Is Paved With Consistency

The eleventh running of the AHG Sprintcar Series over on the west coast has been run and won. After a record 23 rounds at six different circuits around the state the Myalup based Jamie Maiolo has taken off the coveted crown for a record sixth time.

And the main reason for his success is consistency throughout the summer season. Maiolo qualified for every single A Main and his tally reads three wins, four seconds, a third, three fourths and a fifth.

He finished with 15 top ten placings and did not finish on only four occasions. Quite a remarkable performance over the 23 round contest. Second place goes to the popular Mark Wells who contested the entire series for the very first time.

Wells turned in a fine performance but could not match the consistency shown by the #99 LJM Team. A run down of their placings over the season is listed below. The full pointscore will be published in the near future.
