The Myalup Missile Keeps Rolling out The Hits:
Release 19/1/2011 - BCM

The 99 myalup missile machine keeps rolling out the big wins & steadily making his way back up the AHG points series table with another victory at Bunbury City Speedway last Saturday night.

The Main event was exactly that eventful with south west young gun Bradley Maiolo succumbing to a damaged car before even getting a racing lap on the board, he was the victim of another cars accident where 5 cars crashed into him causing some damage to the #77 rocket ship. Brad was instrumental in getting this car repaired, during the red light stoppage Brad climbed out of the car and immediately took control in trying to get the J&J back into the restart but in the end ran out of time & was forced infield for the night.

Brad Maiolo is a serious threat to race teams in WA & will relish the opportunity to compete against Australia’s best come the month of money in February.

For Jamie it has been a case of good luck, bad luck if he hadn’t had some of the silly problems he has occurred during the season he should be a long way in front of the AHG series points, but he has done it the hard way & clawed himself back with in contention for this championship in which he has won 5 times already.

Winning at Bunbury made it two in a row with another win at Albany Speedway just over a week ago, so the Jamie Maiolo team have now got a sniff and will charge into the remainder of the speedway season full steam ahead.

After the event a jubilant Jamie Maiolo had this to say to a pretty healthy crowd at Bunbury City Speedway “It was a good win but I also know it was a fortunate win, Luch & Wellsy were quick and it looked like we would have to settle for 3rd but after that accident we claimed the lead & with two to go and no one was taking it from me, I hope both Luch & Wellsy are ok & I look forward to racing those guys next week, I just want to thank my teamsponsors & family for helping me get this done”

LJM Racing will be at the Perth Motorplex at Kwinana Beach this weekend for round 11 of the prestigious AHG sprintcar series.

LJM Racing is proudly supported by: Australian Produce Brokers, Ausquip Industries, Auto 1 Bunbury, KC Tools, Panelworx, Heatley Industrial, LJM Produce, Maxwill Race Engines & The BCM Group.
